I can honestly say I'm excited, as I write this article. We've just overhauled this website in only two days and have added so many powerful new features, I can hardly wait to tell you about them. The most important thing about these features is they empower YOU to interact and communicate with all other wedding videographers out there!

Article Comments
You can add your two-cents worth at the bottom of any article. Of course you could always have posted in the forums, and for lengthy back-and-forths, that's still a better place, but your comments seem more in context when written right below the article you're talking about, and it's convenient too. We hope to see lots of comments. I hope you'll take the time to go back through our articles and comment wherever you feel you can contribute. We'll appreciate it (even if you're disagreeing with us) and many novice videographers may benefit from your comments.
Article Ratings
Yes, we had these before, and now we're starting over again - it's going to look like nobody's been reading these articles when ratings show only a handful of votes. Again, please help us out and go back through and rate these the way you feel they should be rated. By rating articles, you help us decide what areas to focus on, in our coverage.
Newsfeeds
Yes, we've always had a NEWS section, and we still do, but Newsfeeds are something different. Newsfeeds plug directly into other sites and are automagically updated. Of course we have newsfeeds for Sony, Canon, etc. but we also have feeds plugged into Adobe software support documents! Got a problem with CS3? A quick check on our Adobe support feeds may cover it! Check these newsfeeds frequently!
Direct Article Submission
Writers can now log into our system and submit articles, even write articles online. This should hasten article submissions and make things easier for writers. It also ensures adherence with the look and feel of the rest of the site. I bet you've got some good stories to tell, things that others could learn from or be entertained by. Why not become a writer for WVDR?
Weblinks Section
As we find more links that would be of interest to wedding videographers we'll add them here. Meanwhile, we're off to a good start. We made a section for wedding videographer organizations. There are dozens, maybe hundreds across the country and their membership might grow more easily if there were a central listing for people to find them. Send us your links and a short blurb about your organization and we'll add it here. The link should help you with the search engines too.
Free web sections for local organizations
Does your local wedding videographer organization need help updating their website? How about a free section right here, where you can log in and update your page(s) without having to know the first thing about HTML or any of that other stuff? We're still working on this but we can hurry it up if there's interest. We're also considering adding this to wvdr.org so that maybe an organization's link could be something like wvdr.org/myorganization/
Forums
OK, these aren't new, and we decided not to make any changes here. Our wedding videographer forums have the friendliest, fastest responses anywhere. We had to rename the registration page to stop spammers, but just sent me an email saying you want to join the message boards and we'll send you the registration link.
We'll be adding even more things soon, like a Suggestion form, etc. but until then, please don't be shy about using our Contact form (see menu) to send suggestions, etc.
