Wedding videography is in a class of its own and we don't feel that wedding videography issues are properly and completely addressed when lumped together with event and corporate videography. And no one else offers training, certification and a database of certified wedding videographers. * Neither of the two above videography organizations have set any standards of business practice for wedding videographers that would protect the brides who are their members' clients. In fact, we have seen prominent members of one or more of these videography organizations, promoting concepts that many feel take advantage of clients. * Neither of the two above videography organizations have set any standards or levels of technical expertise that are promoted or even advocated for wedding videographers. In fact, there are often articles or talks given by prominent members that give "advice" that is both faulty and unprofessional. * Neither of the two above videography organizations offer any type of certification for wedding videographers based on standards of business practice and levels of expertise.
