We understand that there is no perfect system for judging art. Many of the above issues are quite subjective, and since we are still basically in pre-launch mode, we've only tested this system on a couple dozen wedding videos and with just three judges. Still, the scores are consistently very close (usually within ten points!) between the judges.

But this system isn't set in stone and we're quite open to making adjustments or even drastic changes, if they would improve things. You might be interested to know that we looked over eight different scoring systems from varying organizations, but since these weren't geared toward wedding videos, none had anything we felt was applicable, so we developed this system during a one-day brain-storming session, then refined it over a two month period.
