We understand that there is no perfect system for judging art. Many of the above issues are quite subjective, yet scores have been consistently very close (usually within ten points!) between the judges.

But this system isn't set in stone and we're quite open to making adjustments or even drastic changes, if they would improve things. You might be interested to know that we studied eight different scoring systems from varying organizations. None were geared toward wedding videos and each had its positive and negative attributes. We pretty much developed this system from scratch, during a one-day brain-storming session, then refined it over a two month period.
