Seems like every time I visit the hardware store I find at least three or four new variations of LED lights.  Spotted one today, the headband variety, with a big reflector, adjustable beam spread, and a wireless dimmer ... all for $50.  Makes me wonder how useful any these new products would be as on camera lights.  I passed on the chance to experiment today.  I'm wondering if any readers here have done some experimentation with led lighting.

Ya know, we had some posts here about a year back on this same issue.  As I recall, a couple of guys were going to buy a cheapie led set and give it a try, but I don't know if they ever posted their results.

Many boards seem to be recommending the Comer 1800.  I have not used it personally, but I am certainly looking at it.  It's a lot more money than the one you are looking at though.   If you do find a cheaper (current model) that works well, I'd like to hear about it too.

No problem.  Info is info and the purpose of this board (and this entire site) is info to help wedding / event videographers - no matter where that info may lie.
