Ok, after much filming for practice I finally started to get paid for my work! Thanks all you guys for your help.

Here's 2 of my clips that I filmed and edited. (The second one is usually just one song long - about 4 - 4.5 minutes but since it was my first filming I made it a little longer.)

Not perfect but hey! It's my first job under pressure! :-) I personally like the second one better.

Only had time to look at just over a minute of the first video, but that was enough.  This is the best "first" video I've ever seen!  I wish I had camera moves that good!  Great use of close-ups.  Really hard to find anything to criticize, but if I had to pick one thing it was that I didn't get a sense of beginning and continuity in the story-telling, and that's what we do as videographers we do "story-telling".

Thanks for the reply. I'd like to ask about the story telling. Maybe it's because you only saw the first minute that you say this, so I will tell you haw the event is edited and then tell me if and how I can improve.

I've seen in other clips how the whole wedding story is crammed into one clip. The way we do it is divide it into separate clips. The first clip you saw is her preparations witch lead into the dramatic meeting. (They bride and groom don't see each other for 1 week before the wedding).

The second clip is the bride and groom walking and doing stuff in parks and nice place. It's all outdoors. Of course, on the DVD the event goes on with the reception clips and other clips and then I put about 40 minutes of the rest of the dancing - choosing the best moments.

So you see, the story is told in the order that it took place, separated in clips - each clip with its own BG music and effects.

Would this be called story telling?

Sure, anything that provides a beginning and end with an interesting story progressing in between, is storytelling.
