Hey Folks,
My company has been in a pretty large transtition phase over the last six months culminating in a rebranding for this year's bridal show. We are now branding without photography for the first time ever. My wife is still doing photography but just under a different name (we're still togehter and hppy btw, just the companys) Anyway, it has been a very time consuming and painful process, but I see the light at the end of the tunnel. The bridal show was a great success, and I have started a blog called The Wedding Guy with video interviews of different vendors in our area offering tips to brides on planning their wedding. I just wanted to share with thsi community that hs meant so much. All of this change stemmed from WEVA this year, so anyone who encourages you to go to WEVA, LISTEN! it can be very powerful.

Hi Bill,

Thanks for posting this.  I've thinking about doing a local site for vendors along similar lines but have been too busy to get it off the ground.   Lots of vendors are happy to do it, it's just been finding time.  I've got two weddings to edit, but then I've got a couple of weeks spare - maybe I should get this going!   It will have a UK slant of course, but it would be interesting to compare the videos and advice Wink

David
I did all of these interviews in one day, and they took another day to edit. So, not very time consuming. It also helped to get my new brand in front of vendors that I want to work with. I'm doing another round of interviews on Tuesday. "like" it on facebook, and you'll get the updates.

This goes to Peter Duncan.   Is that what you intended?   I don't see a likeit button.

Thanks for posting, Bill!

I apologize for my absence.  My wife and I have moved to Arkansas and opened a used car lot and after just one week, it looks like we're going to be very successful if we can just buy cars fast enough.

Meanwhile, I am looking for an organization or individual to take over this site and run it to continue helping newbies and giving a place for experienced videographers to share their knowledge.  Meanwhile, if you regulars could kindly keep a close eye on things here, it will be greatly appreciated.

The rebranding looks great, Bill! I visited some of your links and watched some interviews. A really good idea and well executed!
