Disappearing audio track

Interesting problem.....
Recorded some interviews with the 2 channel inputs on the PD170. Channel 1
was the shotgun mic on the camera (for ambient sound). Channel 2 was a
Sennheiser wireless handheld for the interview. Sounds was great and
recorded flawlessly.
Uploaded the clips and edited them for content...everything sounded great on
the computer.
The problem....when I burned my 1st cut DVD to review, only the ambient
sound was burned. It was as if the handheld never was recorded. I go back
the edited file on the computer and again, it sounds great.
How is this possible? Could it be something simple (I hope)?
Any thoughts???
Thanks, Bill

Your two DVD players are hooked to a monaural TV, right? And you burned your DVD as stereo. Mono TVs may take the left track as the "only" track. Here's how to fix it -
Separate your two audio tracks and make each a mono track within a mono sequence or send to a mono submix. Nest that sequence into an empty stereo sequence. You now have both audio sources coming through left and coming through right tracks. Now you wil hear both on your TV.
