I never thought about that.  I have that exact Samsung camera you bought. ( I even paid the same price for it at Best Buy!)  I usually only use it to download tape to my computer now, but that is an excellent idea!  I have my first wedding this coming weekend, so I'll let you know how it goes.

BTW- I bought the sound gear you recommended, Hank.  Lets hope I can get it figured out.  I bought a ROLLS 4 channel mixer and 3 additional mics so at least my sound won't sound like the complete amateur I am!

That little Samsung is surprisingly good in low light, though the quality overall is pretty bad.

I don't know what a ROLLS 4 channel mixer is, but I generally advise recording to separate channels and doing the mixing in post.
