Other than that, mostly just other rookie mistakes like not panning the camera as smoothly as I would like, or making the mistake of going to the restroom at the reception...I missed the beginning of the MOH's speech. (Note to self...HOLD IT!!)
We sort of overlooked these two items.
Panning smoothly takes two things -
1. a head that will allow you to pan/tilt smoothly (like the Manfrotto 503)
2. practice in panning/tilting with a steady, stable speed from start to stop.
For the second item, try positioning your camera where you want to end up, then without changing your feet, go to where you want to start. This way, you only have to think about moving the handle with a steady motion.
As for the other issue, I try to lay off the coffee & water an hour before the ceremony and check in to the washroom fifteen minutes before the ceremony.
