Get ready to choke when you read this customer review, giving serious consideration (and recommendation!) to using this toy video camera to video an upcoming wedding!

No, this was not a review posted by an eight year old kid (we'd expect a twelve year old to know better!), this was posted by a guy in the 55 - 64 age range!

It was bad enough knowing that we had to educate the public into understanding that professional videographers should be used for their wedding videos - now we have to educate them to know that a toy camera isn't quite going to cut it!  <sigh!>

What a tragedy, for a bride to have one of the most beautiful days of her life, recorded by an amateur with a toy!

I don't think that reviewer is suggesting using this to create an actual wedding video, just something he thought would be fun to get a few shots like any guest might do. The review ends with this remark:

"If image quality is your prime importance, this is NOT the product to buy. If you want something small and convenient, then this may serve your needs. "

I've seen one videographer saying he loans a cheap video camera to the bride and groom to get some shots during their limo ride to reception - maybe something like this could work for that.

Yep,

Now you can buy a 5 pack of digital video cameras for $99 to put on your tables.  Each of them holds 10 minutes.

This is actually kind of fun, some of the best band footage I have ever recorded was by accidentally leaving my video camera on the table in the recording studio and they guys got bored and played around with it.

Hope you all had a great holiday!
