I am going to seriously be in danger of losing my "Don Rickles of video reviews" label (see:
http://www.weddingvideodoneright.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=426 ) after this review. Some might think that perhaps I'm related to Barry Hampe, but actually I've never met him and didn't realize I had two of his books until this very moment.
The fact that Hampe is getting two glowing reviews is only due to the fact that he knows his video stuff and is an excellent writer.
Some of the chapters in this book will relate pretty well to wedding videos, like "Recording Human Behavior". You'll find the non-wedding-pertinent chapters interesting because I doubt if a single one of us hasn't thought of making a documentary, reality video or doing corporate work.
Barry writes with an entertaining style but delivers hard-hitting information in a way you'll remember almost as well as if you experienced his tales first-hand.
I know you've thought about documentaries, reality videos and/or corporate work, so snatch up this book and enjoy!
