Thanks Bill, Yes we are using the hvx. The room was pretty dark we used a 500w lowel softbox to light it up. I have a reel coming soon, so I will post that as soon as its finished.

I'm sure the bride and groom loved this. What kind of glidecam do you use?

Would you talk about your process for same day edits?

At the moment I use a varizoom flowpod. For a SDE we have a team of 3. We shoot on the HVX straight to p2 cards, we keep a steady work flow dumping the cards on to a macbook pro every 30 minutes to an hour or so and after the ceremony one person starts to cut while the other 2 are capturing the photo shoot and b-roll shots. We play the edit from the laptop onto a project that we bring or we use the facilities projector and screen, either or. If there's any thing else you would like to know feel free to ask. Im just glad you took the time to watch our video.

Oh yeah.  But don't give all the credit to the Flowpod.  Sure, this guy can really use the thing and could probably have a career as a Steadicam operator in Hollywood!  But notice the mix of the shots, the framing, lighting and even more - the storytelling.  Here's a guy who's making great wedding videos with his gliding camera shots, but who would still be making great wedding videos if he lost the Flowpod.

Keep up the great work, and thanks for sharing.

Almost forgot - I never let a piece go by without at least one criticism, so here goes - I didn't like the two ring closeups back-to-back, one going in one direction and the next, closer and in the opposite direction.  I'd lose the first one.
